Ismat Rubber industries were established in 1994 to cater to the construction, oilfield, marine and automobile industry in the UAE. With a strong technical background and support from Ismat Chennai, Ismat quickly established itself as one of the leading solution providers for rubber and engineering products in the region.
1996 - Seeing a potential demand for rubber extruded products, Ismat set up an extrusion plant thereby increasing its product portfolio to serve its ever expanding customer base.
2000 - Ismat consolidated all its activities under one envelop by shifting to its new location, an expandable superstructure of 20,000 Sq/Ft, in Industrial area 15 of Sharjah, UAE. In the same year Ismat was also awarded the prestigious ISO 9001 certificate.
2002 - The company further diversified its activities into the Lining business, manufacturing all types of rubber rollers for the conveyor systems, printing industry. Rubber lining of butterfly valves, tanks and pipes.
2007 - We established our Polyurethane Section, whereby helping us to increase our range of
products. Like Rubber, Polyurethane is a vast field helping provide innumerable solutions in this ever changing and demanding work environment.
We have been very quick in understanding this and over a very short period of time have established ourselves as a reliable solution provider for our customers. This was possible because of our dedicated research team here at Ismat and by the immense support that we got from our supplies from Europe and America such as Bayer, Hyperplast, Baule, Erapol.etc.
In polyurethane we manufacture industrial products such as Couplings Mountings, Diaphragms, Seals, Gaskets Etc. We produce PU products ranging from 55 Shore A to 95 Shore A and in special cases up to 60 Shore D.
We specialize in marine floats and fenders, manufacturing Polyurethane foam floats for offshore dredging and mining industries and floatable boat fenders in special grades of polyurethanes.
2010 - With the impact of industrial growth on our environmental, governments and institutions
world over are constantly striving to encourage products that are manufactured from materials that would otherwise be difficult to dispose off without harming the environment.
Being an environmentally conscious company ismat decided to identify products that could be manufactured in this manner. Rubber being our core business, the natural progression was to identify products in the related line of business. Recycling automotive tyres was the natural choice.
In 2010 we started manufacturing products made from recycled automotive tyres. We manufacture flooring products like Rubber pavers and tiles, which are commonly used in commercial, residential and Industrial areas such as walkways, gymnasiums, schools, offices, children facilities, horse barns, and industrial sheds.
Other products such as foundation pads, anti vibrator pads, bollards speed humps, wheel stoppers, wall guards are also in our manufacturing range. Converting many conventional non technical rubber products into recycled products is our ultimate goal.
With a well equipped laboratory and testing of materials conducted as per ASTM standards, we have a strict quality policy and a highly qualified technical team making sure that products rolled out of Ismat are 'Guaranteed Quality Products'.
The founder Mr.Yakub has never considered Ismat as a rubber manufacturer but as an engineering company driven by innovation and a desire to develop new products to meet the ever-changing demands of its customers. |
