Aluminium plate has a density lower than those of other common metals, at approximately one third that of steel. It has a great affinity towards oxygen which it forms a protective layer of oxide on the surface. It is soft, non-magnetic and ductile.

EN573 Aluminium Mesh Sheet can be used as screen or gauze. It sizes range from 0.75 mm to 1 mm to 2 mm diameter with strict tolerances and alpha values for uses such as gas detection and thermometry tolerances.
